Structural Door Packs

Structural door packs close the cavity at door openings using the Cavalok cavity closer profile with structural foam inserts. The outer door frame fixes directly into the cavity closer, removing the reliance on strap fixings and the movement that can occur once the door is installed.

The system suits entrance doors with or without fanlights, French doors, patio doors and bi-fold doors. Subframes supplies the structural cavity closer in three sizes from the Cavalok and BigBlok ranges: 100mm, 125mm and 150mm. The profile is thermally efficient and acts as a DPC.

What’s in a structural door pack

Each pack contains:

  • 2 structural lengths for the door uprights and jambs
  • 1 standard non-structural length for the cill at the door threshold, where required
  • 20 brick ties
